The method works for adding books and PDF to any iOS device.
Select what you want to do next:
Tap on a book to read the details. Tap on Free and then on Get Book to download the free ebook directly to your library. The downloaded book will show up on your iBooks library. Before adding books to iPad or iPhone, install any iOS app which supports ePUB eBook files. There are many free and paid apps on the App Store which allow you to access and read eBook files, for example, Marvin (free) or Documents 5 (free).
Once you have a reader-app installed on the iPad/iPhone, download CopyTrans free to your PC from the following page: Download CopyTrans Apps
Run CopyTrans Apps and plug in your iPad to the PC. From the iPad /iPhone apps list on the left side of the program window select the eBook-reader app. In this case, we chose Marvin:
Next, click “Add documents” button on the bottom right-hand side of CopyTrans App’s window:
A new window opens which allows you to navigate to the ePUB book files. Select all books you wish to add and click “Open”:
TIP: You can alternatively add the ePUB files via dragging and dropping the books directly to the right side of the open program window.

First, open iTunes and navigate to the “Books” section

Transferring PDF files to iPad or iPhone is done in much the same way as adding ePUB books. You first need to ensure you have an app on your iPad that supports reading PDF documents such as the free Adobe Reader for iOS, Marvin, or Bluefire (also free).
Download CopyTrans Apps from the page below Download CopyTrans Apps
Start CopyTrans Apps and connect the iPad or iPhone to your PC. Once the iPad apps populate the left-hand side of the program window, select the PDF reading app
From the right-hand side, click on the “Add documents” button
A new window opens allowing you to browse for the PDF files you want to add to the iPad. Select all the needed PDF files and click “Open”
TIP: You can also add the PDF files to your iPad via dragging and dropping the documents from the PC folder directly to the right-hand side of the open CopyTrans Apps window
